"They went out from us, but they were not of us; for if they had been of us, they would have continued with us. But they went out, that it might become plain that they all are not of us" (1 John 2:19).
You ever wondered why Jesus said, "I never knew you," as apposed to "I knew you once, but no longer know you?" It is because those born of God - that is to say - those new creations in Christ, do not become "born again," to die again. The promise for all those who believe is "eternal life." Those who truly believe will have this promise!
