"For all the gods of the peoples are worthless idols, but the LORD made the heavens" (Psa 96:5).What is man before his maker, or the son of man that he should contend against his God? Ah! "He who sits in the heavens laughs; the Lord holds them in derision. Then he will speak to them in his wrath, and terrify them in his fury, saying, 'As for me, I have set my King on Zion, my holy hill'"(Psa 2:4-6). Will you rage against the Almighty? Behold, he frustrates the plans of the wicked, and they are left confused. The mountains tremble before the Everlasting One, will you still say, "Let us burst our bonds apart and cast away our cords from Him" (Psa 2:3)? Why will you perish oh man? You have become as an abomination and as a demonstration of his great power. Learn from the defeated, you who still live!
