"I will take you from all of your idols and cleanse you" (Ezk 36:25)Few artist's exuded more charisma and song writing talent in my eyes than this man, Robert Nester Marley. His music to me was timeless, and I idolized him while coveting his favor with the world. There was once a time I could listen to his music and take no thought to the religious views he preached in his songs. Then, during a time I wasn't even seeking him, the Spirit blew and light came. I no longer found it easy to listen to my favorite Reggae artist talk about Rastafarianism; it felt wrong. Not long after that, my desires to be like Bob, were being replaced with a yearning to be like the man most call a "good and wise carpenter from Nazareth," the man I came to know as Lord and God, Jesus.
