"For his sake I have suffered the loss of all things and count them as rubbish, in order that I may gain Christ...that I may know him and the power of his resurrection, and may share his sufferings, becoming like him in his death" (Philippians 3:8,10).
How do we fight sin? How can we fight that which brings the flesh great pleasure and delight? We fight these things by knowing a more excellent way; yea even the superior pleasure of all pleasures, the Lord Jesus Christ. As it is written..."we are more than conquerors through him who loved us." May God grant us the grace to know Him! May way press on to know Him, and to have fellowship with Him! Great God and Father, please grant us to have strength to comprehend with all the saints what is the breadth and length and height and depth, and to know the love of Christ that surpasses knowledge, that we may be filled with all the fullness of God.
