"I am the vine; you are the branches. Whoever abides in me and I in him, he it is that bears much fruit, for apart from me you can do nothing." - John 15:5This Christian walk is crazy. Its amazingly strange and fantastically interesting! Not so long ago I was on something like a spiritual high. Not so long ago I was growing in selflessness, and persevering in prayer. Not so long ago God was my treasure, and I sought to make him my refuge. How did things change? The scriptures say, "abide in me and I will abide in you." I did not abide, and now I am in what good old Bunyun would call "the pit of despair." And here I will remain until God comes.
