Does Romans 6 provide some insight and help to holy living? I feel so! It teaches us that since we have become dead to sin - and this was made possible by Christ our Representative and Savior - we are no longer to give ourselves over to the lusts of sin. Words like "let not" and "consider yourselves" really help here. It says..."Let not sin reign in your mortal bodies to make you obey its passion," and "Consider yourself dead to sin and alive to God." Sobering words of responsibility with the sweet promise of victory in holiness.
