In all the Bible Study's that I've been to, this one was actually the best. Here's why: Never before was I challenged so much at a Bible Study. I mean, I was actually discouraged in one sense, but encouraged in another. It was the perfect blend of tearing down to build up or giving chastisement in order to bring about maturity. It reminded me of the scripture where we learn that God will not break the bruised reed or quench the burning wick (Isa 42:3, Matt 12:20). This study could have been a sermon, it was so good. This study was given by our visiting Pastor friend, Michael Crawford. Pastor Mike taught on Singleness, but the study developed into things like biblical manhood, vocational skills, and just a bunch of common sense stuff, which incidentally doesn't seem to appear very "common" anymore. There are so many things I could say in this blog about Monday's study, but I'm sure written words won't do it justice. For this reason, I feel sorrow for the Christians who aren't getting teaching like this! Oh God, let your trues be learned that you people will not perish for a lack of understanding!
