In this week's bible study we studied the doctrine of total depravity. Knowing ahead of time that some of the people in our study never heard of this doctrine, I created the study in such a way that certain obvious questions would be asked, and from those question people would gain an understanding of the doctrine. I was pleasantly surprised that everyone agreed, even one of the brothers who came from a charismatic background. I am happy that God gave us a diverse study. I look forward to seeing how we might grow and benefit from these gatherings, and getting to know the brethren better.
