As it is not right to breathe your air and sin, surely it is not right to exist apart from that which we were made. Oh Father, give me a burden for the things of you! Only what is done for Jesus will last, and my life is but a vapor. Teach me to number my days that I may gain a heart of wisdom, and let me not stand before you wishing I had done more. Teach me what it means when you say, "To live is Christ!" and help me to spend myself in your work. Be pleased to have communion with me, lest I die.
